Concert

Alberta Flood Aid will take place on Thursday, August 15 at 6:00 p.m. at McMahon Stadium.

The concert will feature the following artists: Jann Arden, Randy Bachman, Tom Cochrane, Matthew Good, Nickelback, Colin James, Loverboy, Corb Lund, Johnny Reid, The Sadies, The Sheepdogs, and Ian Tyson. Hosted by comedian Brent Butt.

The performance order is not released yet and more artists may be added. Artist line-up is subject to change, please check back at abfloodaid.ca for updates.

Approximately 30,000 tickets will be sold for this star-studded event and revenue will be donated and Ticketmaster is waiving all service charges normally associated with ticket sales. Order your tickets here.

Coming to the concert:

Getting there
We encourage you to use public transit to get to and from the concert. There will be limited parking at McMahon Stadium for event ticket holders. Parking fees apply and net profits will be donated to the rebuilding fund.

Access for the disabled
Please identify any accessibility needs to Ticketmaster when ordering tickets. Building access is via the wheelchair ramp located at the northeast corner of the stadium.

Stadium policies and procedures
To ensure an enjoyable experience for all our guests, The McMahon Stadium Society will continue to enforce policies for guest conduct. Violating these policies may warrant ejection or arrest.

Smoking policy
Subject to City of Calgary smoking By-Law number 57M92, McMahon Stadium is a non-smoking facility. The smoking by-law applies within the confines of McMahon Stadium including the seating bowl and all concourse areas.

Prohibited actions at McMahon Stadium
Any one of the following actions may warrant ejection or arrest:

  • Open alcohol on the McMahon Stadium parking lot is against the law and will be subject to prosecution
  • Subject to City of Calgary Smoking By-Law number 57M92, McMahon Stadium is a non-smoking facility
  • Throwing objects onto the field or in the stands
  • Standing on seats
  • Disorderly conduct (including drunkenness and the use of profanity)
  • Abuse of intoxicants
  • Running throughout the stadium
